Hi, I’m Gracie!👋🏼

I am a Principal Talent Scout at UMATR, with a focus on placing the best Scala talent and working with leading companies across the European market.

Before recruitment, I studied Law at Bournemouth University and specialised in Employment Law. With previous experience in the Legal sector and client-facing roles, I started my journey helping build teams across the Financial Services and Tech industry. I have worked with a variety of clients from SMEs to leading FTSE250 businesses. I am extremely passionate about delivering excellent customer service and believe generating and nurturing relationships is the key to the success of recruitment.

I have always been confident and love speaking with people from various skillsets and backgrounds. I will always try to listen to what people really want and hopefully help them get a new job they love – as much as I love mine!

If you have ever worked with me, I am sure you’ve heard me make dating references. But recruitment is a lot like dating; it's emotional, intricate and often feels like it's up to fate. As it is my job to play matchmaker, I have grown to understand that one of my main motivations is making people happy. There is no better feeling than building a strong relationship with a candidate and helping them land a dream role.

I am proud to be a part of the UMATR journey to make a real difference in the Scala community. I don’t believe in revolutionising recruitment but rather provide the best service and working in partnership with a business by representing their values, culture and needs.

Even though London has my heart, I am lucky enough to have family across the globe. I love nothing more than travelling and exploring new cities. Especially finding new restaurants, cuisines and bars to try. I am definitely my happiest in the sun, with an Aperol in hand!
