Your Responsibilities

As a Senior Data & AI Consultant, you will:

• Collaborate closely with clients from the pre-sales phase, offering expert advice to help them harness the full potential of data.
• Lead the development of data culture at client organisations by applying a proven methodology, ensuring they adopt data-driven decision-making processes.
• Support clients in the implementation of company-wide data strategy, AI governance, and data transformation journeys, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor in their digital transformation.
• Serve as the key interface between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring seamless communication and effective project delivery.
• Drive the continuous evolution of the company’s Data & AI framework, positioning it as a core offering, and actively contributing to expanding the portfolio.
• Stay ahead of industry trends in data management, AI, and emerging technologies to keep clients informed of the latest advancements.
• Act as the central point of contact for clients, overseeing solution implementation and maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

 

What We’re Looking For

To excel in this role, you should bring:

• A university degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field, or a comparable qualification.
• At least 10 years of professional experience in consulting, particularly within the Swiss market and IT consulting.
• Strong communication skills, with a knack for leading workshops and presentations that inspire and engage stakeholders.
• Proven ability to act as a Product Owner, ensuring successful delivery of IT projects while managing budgets and leading teams of engineers.
• A deep understanding of data architecture, data strategy, and data governance, especially with knowledge of the data mesh approach and how it fits within enterprise architecture.
• Experience in adapting and presenting technical concepts to business stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment.
• Familiarity with regulatory aspects of data, particularly in data protection and information security.
• A strong sense of independence and entrepreneurial spirit, paired with the ability to work collaboratively in teams.
• Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken, is essential for this role. Proficiency in French is a plus, particularly in business settings.

 

Your Superhero Skills

• Hands-on experience in implementing enterprise architectures, including cloud hyperscaler services (Azure, AWS, GCP), and expertise in data processing and analysis technologies.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices is an advantage, along with any certifications (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Agile experience as a Product Owner, with certifications in Scrum or SAFe.
• A keen interest in emerging technologies and the ability to stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and innovations.
