This role sits at the intersection of software engineering, systems engineering, and customer collaboration.
Engineers in this position work closely with customer engineering teams to deploy and integrate the platform into real-world environments. The work often involves connecting complex data systems, building custom tooling, and helping teams derive insight from operational data.
You will frequently operate in ambiguous environments, helping translate real engineering problems into practical software solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Build custom applications, integrations, and scripts to support real-world engineering workflows
• Design and implement data pipelines that connect customer systems and infrastructure
• Support platform deployments and help integrate the software into complex environments
• Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and customer teams
• Surface insights from real deployments to help guide product development
• Contribute to growing and strengthening the engineering team
What they’re looking for:
• Experience building and shipping production software
• Strong problem-solving ability and comfort working in ambiguous environments
• Ability to work closely with users to understand technical challenges and deliver solutions
• Interest in working close to real-world engineering systems rather than purely internal software
• Willingness to travel periodically to work with users on-site when required
Nice to have:
• Experience integrating with external systems or building data pipelines
• Background working in fast-moving startup environments
• Experience supporting customer deployments or technical integrations
• Exposure to large-scale data or distributed systems
A well-funded U.S. startup is building software infrastructure that helps engineering teams develop, test, and operate complex physical systems. Their platform brings together data ingestion, analysis, automation, and collaboration into a single environment so teams can move faster while maintaining reliability and safety.
The company works with organizations building advanced hardware systems across industries such as aerospace, autonomy, robotics, and high-performance manufacturing. These are environments where systems generate large volumes of operational data and engineering teams need better tools to understand, test, and improve system performance.
The founding team and early engineers come from some of the most respected engineering organizations in the U.S., and the company has raised significant venture funding while scaling rapidly over the past few years.
This is a deeply technical environment where engineers operate close to real systems and collaborate with both software and hardware teams to solve complex engineering challenges.
